Registered Nurse - Chemical Dependency

Position: Registered Nurse Location: LOH Main - Naperville Type: Part-time (20 hours/week), evening shifts (3pm-11pm or 7pm-11pm) Responsibilities Include Assessing patient conditions, developing and administering care plans, documenting care, and evaluating outcomes.Welcoming patients, maintaining a safe environment, and supervising direct care staff.Collaborating with departments for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring thorough handoffs.Interacting with patients, families, and healthcare providers to analyze physical, psychosocial, and discharge needs, contributing to interdisciplinary planning.Supporting department goals, participating in quality improvement, and assisting in staff orientation and evaluation.Engaging in training, serving as a role model, and participating in community education on mental health.Supervising patient care within budget constraints, managing staffing, supplies, and equipment. Qualifications Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.Preferred: psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and understanding of therapeutic systems.Must maintain confidentiality and possess a nursing degree.CPI certification required within 90 days of hire.
