Registered Nurse - Chemical Dependency

Role: Registered Nurse Responsibilities Include Assessing patient conditions, developing and administering care plans, documenting care, and evaluating outcomes.Welcoming patients, maintaining a safe environment, and supervising direct care staff.Collaborating with departments for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring thorough communication.Interacting with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and develop interdisciplinary treatment plans.Participating in department goal setting, program evaluation, and professional development activities.Supervising patient care, managing resources within budget, and assisting in staff orientation and training.Serving as a role model, explaining policies, and engaging with community groups to promote mental health awareness. Qualifications Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.Preferably one year of psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and understanding of therapeutic systems.CPR and CPI certifications required; CPI within 90 days of hire.Maintain confidentiality and a nursing degree.
