Registered Nurse - Chemical Dependency

Role: Registered Nurse Location: LOH Main - Naperville Type: Part-time, 20 hours/week Key Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, document care, and evaluate outcomes.Welcome patients, promote a safe environment, and supervise direct care staff.Coordinate with departments for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring thorough communication.Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and include medical issues in treatment plans.Participate in setting departmental goals, staff selection, orientation, and program evaluation.Attend training, serve as a role model, and educate community groups about mental health.Supervise patient care within budget constraints, managing staffing, supplies, and equipment. Qualifications & Skills: Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.Preferred: 1-year psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and understanding of therapeutic systems.Maintain confidentiality and possess a nursing degree. Certifications: CPR and CPI (within 90 days of hire).
