Registered Nurse - Chemical Dependency

Position: Registered Nurse Location: LOH Main - Naperville Responsibilities Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, document care, and evaluate outcomes.Welcome patients, promote a safe environment, and supervise direct care staff.Coordinate with departments for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring thorough communication.Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and develop interdisciplinary treatment plans.Contribute to departmental goals, participate in quality improvement, and assist in staff training and orientation.Attend training sessions, serve as a resource for staff and students, and engage with community groups on mental health issues.Supervise patient care as needed, manage within budget constraints, and adhere to policies and procedures. Qualifications Nursing degree and current Illinois RN license.CPR certification; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.Preferred: psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and therapeutic systems management.Maintaining confidentiality is essential. Skills: Strong communication, clinical assessment, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols.
