About the role

Responsible for supervising and guiding direct patient care staff in providing safe, effective chronic hemodialysis treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, staff support, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Participate in staffing, training, and patient care planning.
  • Assess patient needs, respond to dialysis treatments, and educate patients and families.
  • Supervise equipment use, perform testing, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team for patient care adjustments.
  • Lead emergency response and promote a safe work environment.
  • Support quality assurance and special projects.

Qualifications & Skills

  • R.N. graduate with current licensure.
  • Minimum of 9 months nursing and 3 months dialysis experience; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Completion of hemodialysis training course.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Work Environment

  • Includes patient interactions, facility management, and occasional travel.
  • Must pass color blindness test; work in healthcare setting with exposure to infectious materials.

Compensation

Annual salary range $79,000 – $133,000 with comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
