Registered Nurse - Charge (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Guide and support staff, participate in staffing, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Participate in patient care planning, monitor patient conditions, and respond to emergencies.
• Administer medications, educate patients and families about dialysis and related topics.
• Oversee equipment operation, perform testing, and supervise technical procedures.
• Conduct staff training, supervise documentation, and promote a safe environment.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Auxiliary with special projects, staff interviews, and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (RN) with current licensure.
• Minimum of 9 months nursing and 3 months dialysis experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Successful completion of hemodialysis training.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to supervise staff.

Physical & Work Environment

• Includes interaction with patients and staff, equipment operation, and travel between facilities.
• Work environment typical of healthcare settings, with exposure to infectious materials.
