Responsibilities
- Guide and support staff, participate in staffing, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in patient care planning, monitor patient conditions, and respond to emergencies.
- Administer medications, educate patients and families about dialysis and related topics.
- Oversee equipment operation, perform testing, and supervise technical procedures.
- Conduct staff training, supervise documentation, and promote a safe environment.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members.
- Auxiliary with special projects, staff interviews, and quality assurance activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (RN) with current licensure.
- Minimum of 9 months nursing and 3 months dialysis experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Successful completion of hemodialysis training.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to supervise staff.
Physical & Work Environment
- Includes interaction with patients and staff, equipment operation, and travel between facilities.
- Work environment typical of healthcare settings, with exposure to infectious materials.
