This position is located at California Institution for Women (CIW) in Corona, San Bernardino. Position number: 086-000-9275-XXX. Main communication for this position will be through email.

Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) requires full-time employees in Bargaining Unit 17, and related Excluded, Exempt, and Statutory Exempt employees, to have their base salary reduced by 3% and receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Part-time and permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same conditions on a prorated basis. This is a limited-term position which may be extended or become permanent.

About the Role

Under the supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse II/III, Correctional Facility (CF), the Registered Nurse (RN), CF organizes and provides necessary nursing care in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program requirements in a variety of correctional health care settings. The RN, CF collaborates with the health care team to ensure the delivery of appropriate and timely health care to patients and coordinates interdisciplinary communication to promote continuity of care. The RN, CF addresses the ongoing health care needs of patients and promotes the timely, efficient, and appropriate use of health care resources.
