This position involves collaborating with clinical teams to manage bed assignments, discharges, and transfers, ensuring efficient hospital operations. The role requires reviewing admissions for medical necessity, providing guidance to Admissions Coordinators, and analyzing bed management metrics to improve system performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clinical teams to coordinate patient discharges and transfers.
• Review admissions to ensure medical necessity and appropriate unit placement.
• Mentor and support Admissions Coordinators in navigating patient access challenges.
• Analyze bed management data to identify trends and develop innovative solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Registered Nurse from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and leadership ability.
