Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Post Surgical and Telemetry Fulltime

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They practice in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational values. Key Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care.Deliver relationship-based care tailored to patient demographics and cultural diversity.Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal-setting.Ensure documentation of care and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.Collaborate with healthcare team members via interdisciplinary rounds and communication methods.Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice.Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a competent, professional nursing workforce.Participate in developing protocols, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and safety goals. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred).Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, especially in direct patient care.Certifications in BLS and other relevant areas, required upon hire.Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, time management, and computer skills.Ability to adapt in fast-paced settings and respond effectively to emergencies.
