Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Post Surgical and Telemetry Fulltime

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team, practicing according to state regulations, professional standards, and evidence-based guidelines. Responsibilities Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—while tailoring care to individual patient needs and cultural diversity.Partnering with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.Coordinating and documenting safe, quality care, promoting teamwork, and participating in performance improvement initiatives.Supporting professional development by mentoring colleagues, completing competency assessments, and engaging in ongoing education.Advocating for evidence-based practice, research, and system policies, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.Planning care across the continuum, contributing to protocol development, and optimizing resource utilization. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor of Nursing degree (Bachelors preferred).Current RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably with direct patient care.Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies.
