Registered Nurse - Acute Care - MedSurg Oncology - Full-Time Night

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care on an Oncology Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices.
• Tailor care to individual patient needs, including cultural considerations.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.
• Emphasize teamwork and collaboration to support performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance.
• Complete ongoing competency assessments and serve as a preceptor or mentor.
• Promote evidence-based practice and professional development.
• Manage resources, develop protocols, and adhere to organizational policies and standards.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Active RN license (single or multi-state).
• BLS certification.

Qualifications

Preferred candidates have less than one year of clinical experience and demonstrate strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and a commitment to safety and quality care.
