About the Role
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute-care MedSurg setting supported by evidence-based practice and shared governance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes using critical thinking and clinical standards.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication, fostering cultural sensitivity and care coordination.
- Ensure safe, compliant, and quality care delivery.
- Participate in interdisciplinary teamwork and support performance improvement activities.
- Serve as a mentor and participate in evidence-based practice, research, and protocol development to enhance patient outcomes.
- Manage resources efficiently, uphold organizational policies, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of an associate or diploma in nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Valid RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact).
- BLS certification required.
- Less than one year of clinical experience or completion of an accredited nursing program preferred.
