Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Part-Time

Job Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and/or emotional behavior disorders
  • Maintain a safe environment for all students and staff members
  • Follow behavior plans and acquisition plans created by a BCBA
  • Take data on all target behaviors
  • Attend team meetings
  • Debrief with teachers daily
  • Write daily session notes
  • Collaborate with BCBA during observations

Minimum Qualifications

  • A High school Diploma or equivalent required
  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred if in psychology, social work, education, or related field
  • Experience working with children and/or people with disabilities
  • A strong desire to work with students with special needs
  • A strong desire to work in a dynamic team and advance their knowledge and skills in Applied Behavior Analysis

Training Opportunities

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Credential
  • Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) coaching and supervision
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervision and guidance

Compensation

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour

About the Role

CBPI contracts with several school districts to provide 1:1 support to children and adolescents with emotional behavior disorders, autism, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behaviors. NO weekend work is required. This is an entry level position where you will receive paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

This is a great position for those interested in autism, psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, mental health, para education, and teaching to expand their careers and learn about the field of ABA and who would like to have a part time/flexible schedule. Perfect for students studying behavior, psychology or ABA. Come help us make a difference in a child's life!

Qualifications

High school Diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred if in psychology, social work, education, or related field

Experience working with children and/or people with disabilities

A strong desire to work with students with special needs

A strong desire to work in a dynamic team and advance their knowledge and skills in Applied Behavior Analysis
