Registered Behavior Technician RBT- Part Time

About the role

A registered behavior technician (RBT) is needed to assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
• Observe and document behaviors as directed
• Provide support to individuals with ASD in daily activities
• Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and plan next steps

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Passing score on a background check

Skills

• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with ASD and their families
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
