Regional Project Supervisor - Midwest United States
Position Summary
RamClean is seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused Regional Project Supervisor to oversee large-scale industrial and warehouse cleaning projects throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States. This position will initially focus on projects in the Louisville, Kentucky and Jeffersonville, Indiana markets, with plans to expand oversight into Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, Alabama, and surrounding states within approximately a 500-mile radius. The Regional Project Supervisor is responsible for managing all on-site project activities, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, safety protocols, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Supervisor must be present whenever work is being performed and serve as the primary liaison between the client and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Customer Coordination
- Conduct pre-project and post-project walkthroughs with the client.
- Review Scopes of Work (SOW), project scopes, and customer requirements.
- Develop project execution plans and communicate objectives to team members.
- Create staffing rosters and assign responsibilities based on project needs.
- Ensure all work is completed according to customer expectations and company standards.
Site Supervision
- Be physically present whenever cleaning operations are being performed.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for client and project personnel.
- Escort employees through designated customer-controlled areas when required.
Safety & Compliance
- Conduct site-wide inspections before work begins.
- Walk entire facilities to identify hazards and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Enforce all company, customer, OSHA, and client safety protocols.
- Remove employees from the project site if safety procedures are not being followed.
- Establish exclusion zones, safety perimeters, barricades, warning flags, and hazard tape as required.
- Lead daily safety briefings and task planning meetings.
Equipment & Training
- Inspect equipment, tools, lifts, and supplies prior to project start.
- Maintain inventory and coordinate equipment needs for projects.
- Train employees on proper equipment operation and cleaning procedures.
- Demonstrate and oversee proper use of cleaning equipment and specialty tools.
- Maintain working knowledge of all equipment used by project teams.
Leadership & Quality Assurance
- Lead project kickoff meetings and daily task assignments.
- Monitor employee performance and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and customer requirements.
- Conduct final inspections and quality checks before project completion.
- Document project progress and communicate updates to management.
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Ability to travel throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and compliance.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to qualify for company vehicle insurance.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, overnight projects, and extended shifts.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, climb, walk extensive distances, and work in industrial environments.
PREFERRED:
- Experience in warehouse, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution center environments.
- Forklift certification or willingness to complete client-approved forklift training.
- Experience supervising cleaning, maintenance, industrial services, or facility support crews.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Work Environment
Large warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. Frequent walking throughout large industrial sites. Work performed around equipment, machinery, elevated work areas, and active operations. Projects may involve high-access cleaning and work at heights exceeding 6 feet. Regional travel required.
Schedule
Typical project hours: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM during active projects. Project durations may extend up to seven consecutive days depending on customer requirements.
