About the role
Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ), a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York, seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission-aligned Recruitment Manager to join The Baby College parenting program, the Baby College G.R.A.D.S. EHS home-visiting program, and The Three-Year-Old Journey 12-week workshop for children and parents. The Recruitment Manager will bring a passion for Harlem Children's Zone's mission: breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty through comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that creates opportunities for children to be College, Career, and Life Ready. The Recruitment manager, a centralized position, will function across GRADS EHS, The Baby College (TBC), and Three-Year-Old Journey to strengthen pipeline integrity, ensure consistent referral flow, and reduce attrition between outreach, enrollment, and service engagement. The Recruitment Manager will also centralize and coordinate recruitment efforts to ensure enrollment stability across all programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach and recruitment of participants to familiarize and engage the Harlem community with TBC and GRADS programming to ensure program enrollments and integrity
- Establish strong relationships in the community
- Serve as a role model for the program, demonstrating excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and leadership.
