About the role

Keen Home Care & Homes provides private duty in-home care and residential board and care services for seniors. We are a licensed Home Care Organization focused on reliable, compassionate care and strong internal systems. The Recruiter and Personnel Coordinator will be responsible for our caregiver hiring pipeline and will support daily personnel operations.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting: Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline. Monitor Indeed and respond quickly to new candidates. Invite matched candidates and proactively reach out to qualified candidates. Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and scheduling phone screens and interviews for qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate skills assessments and ensure efficiency in scheduling next steps. Prepare hiring recommendations and ensure the offer process moves efficiently. Maintain organized tracking of all applicants. Follow up consistently with candidates to keep them engaged. Take ownership of the candidate experience.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate onboarding steps and confirm start dates. Ensure new hires have clear instructions for uniforms, apps, and first shifts.
  • Personnel and Shift Coverage: Create and maintain caregiver schedules for home care cases. Fill call-offs, approved time off, and urgent coverage gaps. Maintain accurate caregiver availability records. Communicate clearly with caregivers and clients regarding schedule changes. Enter and update scheduling data in ClearCare.
  • Systems and Administrative Support: Maintain caregiver and client records. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and/or at least 2 years of recruiting experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting.
  • Experience using Indeed or similar hiring platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills, integrity, and the ability to keep information confidential.
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to remain organized.
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations related to the hiring process.

Pay

The compensation for this position is $24 - $32 per hour.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. However, some flexibility may be required for interviews outside of standard business hours. The Recruiter and Personnel Coordinator may occasionally be requested for urgent personnel coverage or call-offs on weekends and holidays, as needed.
