Essential Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
    • Partner with management to execute recruiting strategies for internal and contingent staffing positions.
    • Manage job postings through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
    • Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, industry associations, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
    • Screen resumes and evaluate candidates against position requirements.
    • Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
    • Cook up interviews with hiring managers and client representatives (Internal construction management and contingent workforce).
    • Cook up candidate pipelines and ensure timely follow-up throughout the recruiting process.
    • Prepare candidate summaries and recommendations for management review.
  • Onboarding & Employee Administration
    • Cook up new hire onboarding activities and documentation.
    • Ensure completion and accuracy of all onboarding paperwork.
    • Keep employee records and HRIS data up-to-date.
    • Track required certifications, licenses, and training records.
    • Keep personnel files and employee records tidy.
    • Audit employee files for completeness and compliance.
    • Track required documentation and follow up on missing items.
    • Keep onboarding documentation completed and properly maintained.
  • Compliance & Recordkeeping
    • Maintain personnel files and employee records.
    • Audit employee files for completeness and compliance.
    • Track required documentation and follow up on missing items.
    • Keep onboarding documentation completed and properly maintained.
  • Performance Management
    • Track performance review schedules and deadlines.
    • Follow up with managers regarding outstanding evaluations.
    • Maintain performance review documentation and reporting.
  • Employee Relations & Communication
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries.
    • Assist in resolving employee concerns and workplace issues.
    • Draft professional communications to employees and leadership.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives and company programs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum 3–5 years of Human Resources and/or Recruiting experience.
    • Experience conducting interviews and evaluating candidates.
    • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience supporting contingent staffing, professional services, engineering, construction management, or project management organizations. (Preferred)
    • Experience with JazzHR, Paychex, or similar systems. (Preferred)
