Recruiter (MA)

Industry: Semi-conductor manufacturing
Location: North Reading, MA
Work arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)

About the role

6–12 month contract with chance to extend and convert over time if performing well. Pay: $55–60/hr.

Responsibilities

• Be a strategic partner to hiring managers to define needs and design hiring processes that ensure a world-class candidate experience.
• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from source to close.
• Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies—both individually and with the team—to build a strong pipeline of outstanding candidates.
• Drive diversity initiatives within the recruiting pipeline.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and HR to set appropriate job requirements, ensure clarity, and assess candidates against defined criteria.
• Participate in implementing, refining, and assessing recruiting processes to deliver high-quality results and improve customer and candidate experience.
• Stay familiar with industry trends, market competitors, and unemployment conditions.
• Screen and deliver top-of-funnel candidates so hiring managers only see a strong subset of technically capable candidates.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in a large corporate environment, specializing in Engineering recruitment (Hardware/Mechanical/Software).
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent social, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills; positive attitude and high level of initiative.
• Ability to establish rapport with candidates and hiring managers at all levels.
• Ability to work with a high sense of urgency, remain flexible in a dynamic environment, and successfully meet objectives.
