About the role
The Recruiter, Finance & Accounting is a contract position for a skilled recruiting professional to help build a high-performing finance and accounting organization within a fast-growing, technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete recruiting lifecycle for finance and accounting roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment coordination, and offer support.
- Conduct in-depth candidate evaluations across areas such as corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, audit, and strategic finance.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, referrals, professional networks, and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Partner with finance executives and hiring managers to define role requirements, align expectations, and create effective hiring strategies.
- Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines while ensuring a positive and engaging candidate journey throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide market insights on talent availability, compensation expectations, and industry trends to guide hiring decisions.
- Track candidate progress, maintain accurate recruiting data within applicant tracking systems, and provide transparent pipeline reporting.
- Represent the organization’s mission, culture, and opportunities to prospective candidates through compelling conversations and outreach.
Requirements
- Strong experience in specialized finance recruiting, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A deep understanding of finance and accounting talent markets and be comfortable advising hiring teams on recruiting strategies.
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience focused specifically on finance and accounting roles, including FP&A, accounting, audit, tax, treasury, or strategic finance.
- Proven ability to assess finance candidates’ technical capabilities, including knowledge of accounting principles, financial modeling, audit processes, cost accounting, and strategic planning.
- A strong understanding of the finance and accounting landscape, including industry trends, professional certifications, and relevant financial systems such as ERP platforms and planning tools.
- Experience partnering with senior finance leaders and hiring managers to deliver effective recruiting outcomes.
- A consultative recruiting approach with the ability to advise stakeholders on market conditions, candidate expectations, and talent strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand candidate motivations and evaluate cultural alignment.
- Experience managing multiple candidate pipelines while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a dynamic and growing team environment.
- Experience recruiting for high-growth companies, startups, agency environments, or complex finance organizations is preferred.
- Existing networks within the finance and accounting community are a plus.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
