About the role
We are hiring a Real Estate Staff Accountant who enjoys solving problems and taking pride in discovering the right solutions. This is an in-office opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring accuracy of corporate financial records and reports for assigned duties.
- Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end close process and manage our debt.
- Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide related variance analysis monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Manage Prepaid, Accrued Expenses and Fixed/Intangible Asset schedules including recording depreciation and amortization.
- Collaborate among departments to share accounting data and improve efficiencies.
- Prepare, review, and distribute financial reports.
- Prepare roll-forwards and financial analysis.
Requirements
- Experience conducting actual to budget/forecast analysis.
- Experience with monthly, quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience recording monthly journal entries, accruals, reclasses, etc.
- Experience with debt reconciliation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- 1-2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient financial system skills with an emphasis on Excel, SmartView, Workday Financials experience a plus.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Nimble problem solver who enjoys complex challenges.
- Demonstrates quality customer service, teamwork, and cultural fit.

Pay
Expected pay range of $65,000 - $80,000 base salary plus annual target bonus.
