Real Estate Investment and Finance Counsel (Charlotte)

About the role

Katten, a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Counsel to join its premier Real Estate Investment and Finance practice in the Charlotte office.

Responsibilities

• Well versed in the finance side of real estate transactions, including originating commercial mortgage loans and drafting and negotiating loan documents.
• Experience with servicing and workouts is a plus.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
• Solid academic credentials.
• Strong writing skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• A client-team focused approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants should include a resume and a law school transcript with their application.
• Candidates should be admitted to the North Carolina bar or immediately eligible to waive in to the North Carolina bar.

Pay

The estimated salary range for this role is $300,000 - $400,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
