Responsibilities

  • Facilitate dynamic life-skills workshops designed to help gifted K-3 students build communication, focus, leadership, resilience, and other enduring competencies through active involvement rather than passive instruction.
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group coaching, utilizing Coachbot analytics, effective motivation frameworks, and meaningful relationships to ensure every student advances toward ambitious weekly learning targets.
  • Evaluate life-skill proficiency through gt.school's Test2Pass system, coaching students until they exhibit true comprehension and reliable application.
  • Tailor your coaching approach to your cohort's developmental stage, blending creativity and playfulness with exceptionally high standards for what young learners can achieve.
  • Cultivate relationships that push gifted students to take on challenging work, persevere through obstacles, and develop character that aligns with their intellectual capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a personal history of exceptional academic achievement.
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience working with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or comparable settings.
  • A concrete example of motivating a young child to reach a challenging goal, detailing the goal, your method, and the result.
  • Comfort integrating AI-powered learning while concentrating your efforts on coaching, motivation, and life-skill cultivation.
  • The capacity to merge warmth with consistent, high expectations for every student.
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site in Georgetown, Texas.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Skills

  • Exceptional storytelling or presentation abilities that naturally captivate young children.
  • A history of helping exceptionally capable children surpass what they thought they could achieve.
