On-site position: Georgetown (Austin), TX. Relocation assistance available$100,000 annual salary, full-time. Health, dental, and vision coverage begins day oneStructured literacy certification required (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, CERI, LETRS, or equivalent) The best way to support a gifted six-year-old reading at grade level is to refuse to settle for it. If you hold structured literacy credentials and have witnessed how phonics transforms early readers, consider what becomes possible when you deploy those same methods with children who aren't struggling—they're simply unchallenged. The result isn't incremental improvement. It's 5–10x acceleration. At gt.school, you finally use your complete training. No basal readers. No mandated district scope and sequence. You facilitate small-group early literacy workshops for gifted children ages 5–8, administer running records, create differentiated instructional groups, and build lessons driven entirely by what your data reveals. Adaptive software manages content delivery. You handle what no application can replicate: coaching a select group of exceptional students to surpass benchmarks they weren't expected to reach until years later. 100% of your students achieve their adaptive software targets. Over 90% rate you highly in surveys. This is the outcome when a certified literacy specialist works with small cohorts of gifted learners without interference. You'll see first graders who entered at grade level begin consuming chapter books independently. That kind of transformation is what most literacy professionals hope to witness once in a career. If you possess the certification, the phonics mastery, and the belief that gifted children deserve acceleration rather than enrichment at a conventional pace, submit your application now.
