Radiology Technologist with Charge Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging examinations per physicians' orders using advanced equipment, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
  • Lead exam workflow, train staff, address equipment and safety concerns, and coordinate with multiple departments
  • Apply clinical judgment for patient positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient-specific needs
  • Maintain ALARA principles for radiation safety
  • Conduct imaging exams, oversee shift operations, support staff training, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate across departments in a patient-centered care environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certified radiologic technologist with Oregon license or temporary license, and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association
  • Ability to perform sophisticated imaging with attention to patient safety and quality standards
