Charge MRI Technologist

About the role

Lead MRI department operations, including staff scheduling, training, updating protocols, quality checks, MRI safety screening, and patient care. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Supervise workflow, assist with complex exams, mentor staff and students, and serve as a clinical resource.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
• Execute studies independently and in various settings
• Oversee shift operations and workflow management
• Problem solving, mentoring, and liaising between staff and supervisors
• Maintain supplies and escalate technical issues

Requirements

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and MRI experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ MRI/charge experience; 5-10 years preferred
• Licenses such as ARRT RT, MR or equivalent, and additional certifications as needed
