The role involves collaborating with multiple departments and utilizing advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure, following ALARA principles. The technologist will take into account patients' individual needs, including age-related considerations, and use clinical judgment for proper positioning and technique calibration.
Qualifications
- Relevant certification
- Oregon Radiographer License or temporary license
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months
- BLS certification
- New graduates must obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire
