About the Role
A Charge Radiology Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in general radiology for adult and pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for radiographic exams
- Perform radiographic exams independently
- Manage shift workflow and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Mentor staff and students, serving as a clinical resource
- Act as a liaison between the team and leadership to ensure effective communication and problem-solving
Key Duties
- Conduct imaging procedures
- Oversee shift operations
- Assist with training and development
- Escalate issues as needed
Requirements
- Associate or Trade School education in Radiology
- 2–5 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Appropriate licensure (IEMA or Radiology Technologist registration)
Preferred Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience
- CPR certification
