- Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in CT, for adult and pediatric patients.
- Perform CT and diagnostic imaging studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
- Manage workflow, set priorities, and oversee shift operations, delegating tasks to staff as needed.
- Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and liaison, providing problem-solving and troubleshooting support.
- Escalate equipment or IT issues appropriately and assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of supervision.
- Ensure proper communication and supplies management during shifts.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- 2+ years of experience (5–10 years preferred).
- Additional certifications such as CTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, or RCES are desirable.
- State-specific licensure where applicable.
