About the role
This position is a part-time benefit-eligible role with variable hours, typically PRN but varying as needed. Sign-on bonus is available based on eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist.
- Captures patient information and coordinates daily activities.
- Assists in preparing patients for exams and ensuring patient safety.
- Retrieves patient orders and requisitions.
- Supports administrative or miscellaneous work tasks in the RIS, EMR, or other standard applications.
- Assists with patient care duties and other professional activities as needed.
- Performs under the supervision of a radiology technologist.
- Assists in monitoring the flow of patient activities in the department.
Requirements
- Senior/rising senior Radiography program student preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED with preliminary coursework toward a certificate or degree in a medical imaging field.
- Medical clerical skills preferred.
- BLS required.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED with preliminary coursework toward a certificate or degree in a medical imaging field.
- Experience: Clinical experience based on the educational program affiliated with the pursuit of career in medical imaging.
- Certifications: BLS required.
Skills
- Basic diagnostic x-ray skills.
- Ability to assist patients with questions about procedures.
- Knowledge of radiation safety guidelines.
- Physical abilities to lift and move patients, equipment, and supplies.

Pay
$21.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
Schedule
PRN varies as needed.
