Radiology CT Technologist (Weekend)

The CT Technologist performs computerized axial tomography procedures using various imaging equipment and contrast materials, ensuring high-quality patient imaging in accordance with established protocols. Responsibilities include preparing and administering contrast agents, reviewing patient history and labs, and recognizing adverse reactions. The role involves acquiring and processing exams independently, performing multiplanar reformats and 3D images, and collaborating with radiologists. Qualifications require an Associate’s Degree or completion certificate in Radiologic Technology, active licensure and certifications (BLS, Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT registrations in Radiography and CT, or equivalent), and at least one year of radiology experience. Key skills include a positive attitude, technical proficiency, independent judgment, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards. The technologist may assist in training staff and students, perform cross-modality duties, and support department operations.
