Radiologic Technologist - Missouri City Breast Imaging Center

About the role

The Radiologic Technologist at MD Anderson Cancer Center will perform imaging exams and deliver outstanding patient care for physician-ordered Rad/FL procedures. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient safety and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures using approved protocols while ensuring technical accuracy
• Review patient studies for quality, coding accuracy, and proper documentation
• Administer contrast agents safely; follow radiation safety guidelines (ALARA, Image Gently)
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure equipment readiness
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Use critical thinking to resolve patient care concerns and workflow challenges
• Participate in quality assurance efforts and collaborate to resolve image quality issues

Requirements

• ARRT-certified
• Texas Medical Board CMRT and BLS certifications
• Strong technical proficiency and accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and critical thinking skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Successful completion of an accredited program by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
