About the role
Perform radiographic procedures using various equipment at a professional level with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through radiology rooms and set up equipment
- Assist radiologists and perform specialized examinations
- Ensure patient safety and operate the Radiology Information System
- Assess patient conditions and transport patients as needed
- Support student training
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiology
- Valid state license and ARRT registration
- Preferred: 1 year of experience handling patients from infants to adults
- Onsite work with physical stamina for lifting, standing, and walking
- Availability for flexible hours
- Commitment to professional growth through ongoing education
- Adherence to hospital policies and safety standards
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of contrast materials and infection control
- Familiarity with safety protocols and ability to adapt to changing procedures
- Physical ability for fine manipulation and patient handling
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
