Role Overview

A Radiographer responsible for performing radiographic exams, providing patient education, practicing radiation safety, and assisting with basic patient care and vital sign measurements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform X-rays following protocols and proper positioning
  • Explain procedures to patients and ensure safety measures are followed
  • Assist with triaging, discharge, and basic lab procedures such as EKGs and specimen collection

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate's degree or equivalent and completion of an approved R.T program
  • Current ARRT certification, Maryland Radiographer License, and CPR certification
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy, and operation of X-ray equipment
  • Excellent customer service, communication skills, and reliability
  • Physical ability to work long shifts, stand/walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs

  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Reliable transportation for traveling between locations
