Radiographer - Full-Time

About the Role

A licensed Radiographer responsible for performing radiographic exams, providing patient education, ensuring radiation safety, and assisting with basic patient care and vital sign measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-rays following protocols and proper positioning
• Explain procedures and positioning to patients
• Practice radiation safety measures
• Assist with triage, discharge, and basic patient care as workflow permits
• Measure and record vital signs
• Conduct simple lab procedures such as EKGs and specimen collection

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent, completed R.T program
• Current ARRT certification and Maryland Radiographer License
• CPR certification
• Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy
• Proficiency with x-ray equipment and strong customer service skills
• Effective communication skills, reliability, and flexibility to work long shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Pay
