Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic exams following protocols
- Educate patients on procedures and positioning
- Practice radiation safety measures
- Assist with basic patient care, triaging, and discharge
- Measure vital signs and perform simple lab tests like EKGs and specimen collection
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist (R.T) program
- Current ARRT certification
- Maryland Radiographer License
- CPR certification
- Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy
- Proficiency with x-ray equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for working long shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Pay
Competitive hourly pay ($35-$40) plus overtime. Sign-on bonus of $2,500 for full-time roles.
