About the role
The Quality Manager for KONE Americas is responsible for managing and continuously improving the regional quality performance in line with unit targets. This role ensures alignment and execution of full chain quality strategy on the region level, supporting branches and districts in problem solving to eliminate the Cost of Poor Quality across sales, ordering, delivering, installation, hand-over and Service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously improve regional quality performance in line with unit targets
- Ensure alignment and execution of full chain quality strategy on region level
- Support branches and districts in problem solving to eliminate the Cost of Poor Quality across sales, ordering, delivering, installation, hand-over and Service
- Bring 5+ years of progressive and successful experience in sourcing, supply chain management or relevant area to KONE
- Use knowledge gained through Technical or Business degree (BS / BA) from an accredited college or university

- Leadership and proven ability to work in cross-functional team and international environment
- Analytical skills with experience of operational processes for continuous improvement through application of Six Sigma or other proven quality tools and methodologies
- Demonstrated success managing team even in complex situations
- Ability to work in a cross functional/matrix teams
- Flexibility to travel (60% of time) through the region for site visits, branch visits and key meetings attendance
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups including senior management
- Ability to effectively evaluate business performance and identify initiatives to drive improvement

Pay
- Annual Base Pay Range: $135,500 – $177,870
- Variable Compensation: KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (60/40) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals
