Quality Manager
About the role
The Quality Manager position at KONE Americas is seeking a driven professional with 5+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain management, or a related field. This role requires a strong commitment to quality improvement, leadership, and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously improve regional quality performance aligned with unit targets
- Ensure alignment and execution of full chain quality strategy on region level
- Support branches and districts in problem solving to eliminate Cost of Poor Quality across various stages of the process
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with systems and procedures
- Participate in key meetings such as Monthly district management meetings, Branch PM reviews, Traction Control...
Requirements
- Proven project management experience
- Leadership and proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and international environments
- Experience in analytical skills and continuous improvement through Six Sigma or other quality tools/methodologies
- Demonstrated success in managing teams, especially in complex situations
- Flexibility to travel up to 60% of the time for site visits, branch visits, and key meetings
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to evaluate business performance and identify improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Technical or Business degree from an accredited college or university
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in quality
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Six Sigma or other quality tools/methodologies
- Ability to work in a cross-functional/matrix teams
- Flexibility to travel
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

Pay
The annual base pay range for this role in Lisle, IL is $135,500 – $177,870. The compensation package offered will depend on the candidate's ability to meet the requirements of the role, needs for the business strategy, and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
Schedule
The position is located in Lisle, IL, but can be based in any location depending on the top candidate.
