Responsibilities
- Puts safety first in all responsibilities including awareness and adherence to all corporate and site environmental, health, and safety policies.
- Serve as the “Management Representative” for audits and other related customer and internal quality inquiries.
- Lead the quality team and manage the Amcor Plant Quality System, ensuring compliance to chosen quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage customer complaint program, respond to customer complaints, and participate in the formulation of corrective measures.
- Oversee the maintenance of the lab and related test equipment, including calibration, repair, servicing, ordering supplies, and training personnel as needed.
- Lead root cause investigations through to effective long-term resolutions, instruct plant co-workers, and lead by example in establishing a culture of continuous improvement in Quality.
- Develop and implement appropriate in-process quality inspection plans using effective, cost-conscious methods.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant working experience and training in Quality in a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining quality system and food safety system standards.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of the packaging industry desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for Medical, Pharmaceutical, and Food packaging products.
- Knowledge of Quality System Software and Quality Engineering tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience.
- Formal training in problem solving techniques, coaching, facilitating, project management, and team dynamics preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Medical, Pharmaceutical, and Food packaging products.
- Knowledge of HACCP/FSSC 22000/SQF/BRC/IMS, ISO 13485/9001.
