Quality and OPEX Systems Administrator

About the Role

Dassault Falcon Jet recently opened a state-of-the-art flagship Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility at the Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB) in Melbourne, Florida. The complex will accommodate all current Falcon models, including the new ultra-long-range Falcon 10X, and will be capable of performing major maintenance and modifications on up to 18 Falcon models.

Under the direction of the Sr. Manager MRO Quality, the Quality and OPEX Systems Administrator is responsible for administering and maintaining DFJ Network Quality Systems databases, including Regulatory, Vendor Manuals, Training Database support, and the policy/procedural library.

Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and serve as primary focal point for in-house database applications in support of Quality, Training, and Methods Engineering, including but not limited to:
  • Repair Station Regulatory Database
  • PPE Database
  • Repair Station Forms, process & procedures database
  • Legacy Training
  • Crystal, Power BI, or equivalent Report Generator
• Administer and serve as primary internal contact and external provider interface for commercial database applications in support of Quality, Training, and Methods Engineering, including but not limited to:
  • Q-Pulse Quality Management System
  • UKG Learning Management System (assist Training Dept. as/if directed)
• Assist in basic creation and updates of SCORM-compliant CBT courses using Articulate or similar applications.
• Administer SMS Centrik Software.
• Develop and maintain reports on behalf of Network Quality, Training, and Methods Engineering using Crystal Reports, Power BI, and/or other report-writing software applications.
• Develop and maintain departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with input from Network Quality, Training, and Methods Engineering departments.
• Develop and maintain Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions, and Training Materials pertaining to the administration and use of Quality, Training, and Methods Engineering database applications.
• Assist in the development of and maintain Network Quality, Training, and Methods Engineering department Intranet sites.
• Manage and serve as primary internal and external focal point for Technical Data accounts (vendor manuals).
• Other duties, as assigned.
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism, promote quality and integrity, and exercise discretion and good judgment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science related field — equivalent experience, aviation aftermarket software administrator, or Quality preferred.
• 3-5 years' experience developing and administering CRM enterprise management applications/database applications.
• High degree of experience and proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Successful completion of the Melbourne Airport background check process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Corridor ERP Software or similar.
• Q-Pulse (QMS) or equivalent experience.
• UKG Pro Learning LMS (Learning Management System) or similar.
• Proficiency and understanding of reporting systems such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, or similar.
• FAA Part 145 Repair Station experience, Quality department, or similar.
• Aviation maintenance tracking systems such as CAMP Systems or other MRO software systems.

Working Conditions

• Based in DFJ, Melbourne, FL.
• Executive-level office environment.
• Occasional travel required.

Pay

The compensation for this position typically falls between $65,000 and $96,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime but may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, shift differential, or relocation assistance. The final compensation offered will depend on factors including relevant experience, education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
