About the role

To maintain all parts areas and inventory on a daily basis. To assist in the ordering of parts, supplies, and equipment. To bar code parts and put them on shelves, keeping an accurate inventory. To order and receive parts and equipment, keeping the supply area clean and orderly. To complete daily paperwork, count and maintain boiler fuel inventory, and assist in completing month-end reports.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all parts areas and inventory on a daily basis.
  • Assist in the ordering of parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Bar code parts and put them on shelves, keeping an accurate inventory.
  • Order and receive parts and equipment, keeping the supply area clean and orderly.
  • Complete daily paperwork.
  • Count and maintain boiler fuel inventory and other crucial items.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and write.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Computer skills.
  • Knowledge of how to use parts catalogs.
  • Ability to use a calculator to perform addition and subtraction functions.
  • Must be able to climb 1 to 2 flights of stairs frequently.
  • Able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Able to operate a "Bob Cat"/case loader and forklift and other rental machinery.
  • Maintain all working areas by keeping them clean and neat at all times.
  • Must be a self-starter and operate this department with a minimum of supervision.
  • Able to assess a situation and formulate a proper course of action.
  • Use equipment in a safe manner as instructed by management.
  • Work safely and observe all safety rules.
  • Hazards may and include, but are not limited to cuts, burns, slips and trips.
