Public Works - Streets Laborer

About the Role

The City of Nacogdoches Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our Streets Division. This role directly impacts the safety and appearance of our city streets and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Patch potholes, seal cracks and repair streets using asphalt and concrete.
• Paint crosswalks, parking lines and maintain traffic signage.
• Trim vegetation and prune rights-of-way.
• Load/unload heavy materials and operate hand tools and equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in street maintenance OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid Texas Driver License.
