PT Medical Scheduler

About the role

We are searching for a Part-time Customer Service Representative with medical scheduling skills to work in our clinic in Richardson, Texas. Our ideal candidate will have great interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and take inbound calls.
• Ensure the office has correct demographic and insurance information on file.
• Schedule patients for advanced physical exams.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Call on campaigns to schedule.
• Meet weekly and monthly scheduling goals.
• Proactively implement and execute scheduling processes.
• Ensure patient comfort by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering patient questions.
• Update patient records.
• Follow all HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Excellent computer skills.
• Experience with EMR Systems, preferably Epic, ECW, and Athena.
• Positive, professional attitude and code of conduct.
• Ability to meet goals.
• Passionate about helping people and healthcare.
• Excellent, professional communication skills.

Pay

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule

• 16-32 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays.
