We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Physician Services Advisor to join our team. This role serves as the primary internal contact for all service lines provided by Altais to our network physicians. Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary internal contact for all service lines provided by Altais to our network physicians.
- Supporting the day-to-day administrative operations, providing exceptional service to physicians and office staff, and monitoring physician participation.
- Advocating for current and future products, services, and operational processes, while promoting Altais' strategic goals, core values, and communications.
- Communicating challenges and deficiencies on behalf of the physician network, escalating issues as needed and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Educating physician practices on new and existing policies and procedures, including medical management review processes, claims payment policies, and clinical coding processes.
- Reviewing existing policies to ensure compliance, troubleshooting provider issues, and identifying non-compliant providers.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Altais’ services and product offerings.
Qualifications
- Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience of 4 years working in direct managed health care administration or Physician office administration.
- Experience: 2-3 years of Patient and Physician portals and EMH or EMR system experience, preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to use independent judgment and initiative within established policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of physician office operations, including interfaces and interdependencies between offices, health plans, and IPAs.
- Demonstrated flexibility and strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize duties and effectively delegate tasks.
- Ability to maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Comprehensive knowledge and excellent customer service skills related to the complexities of physician practices.
Pay
The base salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000/year.
