About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, focusing on developing efficient and sustainable transportation solutions. Successful candidates will contribute to project development, analysis, and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze traffic flow models and infrastructure designs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project goals align with community needs and environmental standards.
- Conduct research and gather data to inform project recommendations.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project progress and findings.
- Participate in meetings and workshops to discuss project plans and gather feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design.
- Proficiency in traffic simulation software and GIS tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Professional certifications in traffic engineering or related fields preferred.
- Experience working on public transportation projects.
- Knowledge of traffic engineering standards and best practices.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in traffic simulation software (e.g., CORSIM, VISSIM).
- Experience with GIS and mapping tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Strong understanding of traffic flow theory and urban planning principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
