Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of proposal and interview materials.
- Prepare technical presentations as requested.
- Organized and Detail Oriented
- Help ensure that written communications are consistent in design and tone and follow company guidelines.
- Aid in maintaining marketing databases and project descriptions.
- Maintain open lines of communication and respond promptly to all inquiries.
- Develop and maintain relationships with technical staff to support marketing efforts.
- Performs QA/QC review of proposal and interview materials.
- Provide backup support for web materials.
- Provide backup support to the Marketing Manager relative to RFQ/RFP opportunities.
- Perform market research on industry trends as requested.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Experience may be substituted for education.
- + 2 years' proposal or marketing experience, preferably with an AEC firm.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, and production skills.
- Ability to pick up new procedures and put them into practice.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with a good understanding of the time critical nature of proposals and other marketing tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat).
- Experience in the proposal process is a plus.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Visually literate with strong verbal and visual communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and productively with staff of all levels, including firm leadership.
- Must be comfortable interfacing with employees, clients, and vendors throughout all levels of the organization.
