Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Answering phone calls, emails, and text messages.
- Aiding residents, owners, vendors, and prospective tenants.
- Cooking and following up on maintenance requests.
- Visiting properties as needed for inspections, lockbox installation, signage, and other field tasks.
- Aiding with leasing activities and move-in/move-out coordination.
- Maintaining online property listings and assisting with marketing and social media.
- Maintaining accurate records and completing administrative tasks.
- Aiding with special projects and supporting the day-to-day operations of the property management department.
Qualifications And Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of relevant experience, preferably in property management or the construction industry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, dependability, and willingness to learn.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Property management or real estate experience.
- AppFolio Property Manager experience.
- Social media, marketing, or administrative experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend, kneel, and/or balance up to eight+ hours a day.
- Ability to drive during the work shift from location to location for business purposes.
- Repetitive use of hands in a construction/property environment; working with property equipment and tools, feeling or reaching for objects and tools.
- Hearing and talking with several people during most of the work shift.
- The use of varying vision abilities, such as close vision, peripheral, depth, and adjusting focus.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors, tolerating various temperatures and weather conditions.
- Ability to physically navigate and perform daily tasks in a standard office setting.
- Ability to move around in all work areas independently, or without external help.
