About the role
This position is responsible for supporting various projects and initiatives for the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) team, the Independent Dental Solutions (IDS) business, Henry Schein’s Supply Chain Services business, NASA and BDE teams. This position will be responsible for managing numerous project plans until completion for the team to ensure business initiatives are being met.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage various project plans for the GPO, IDS, Supply Chain, NASA and BDE teams to assist in driving projects through completion.
- Responsible for following up with team on open initiatives to drive accountability.
- Partner with key Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) customers to build and maintain strong, strategic relationships.
- Support assigned Strategic Account Managers and leaders with day-to-day customer needs and execution of strategic business priorities.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing business organically within assigned accounts.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with Dental Society executives, GPO partners, and Henry Schein leadership to drive business initiatives.
- Works as a liaison between vendor partners, account members, channel partners, and Henry Schein team.
- Responsible for onboarding new members, answering member inquiries, and troubleshooting member account issues.
- Coordinate and attend events and meetings for members, collaborators, and channel partners.
- Create and distribute vendor and channel partner marketing ads through various platforms.
- Conduct cost comparison savings analysis for pursuits.
- Summarize, create, and distribute meeting notes to stakeholders as well as distribute monthly emails to supply chain services and GPO teams.
- Coordinate and submit RFIs for GPO partners and coordinate the bid calendar distribution process.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience managing numerous projects and competing priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Very detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Must have proficient knowledge of spreadsheet and data entry software like Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the highest attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively work with all levels of an organization.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comprehensive understanding of medical/dental supply distribution and company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external leadership.
- Proficiency in Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, CRM tools.
Qualifications
Typically 3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience. Preferred education is a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

Travel and Work Environment
