Job Summary

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities for existing or newly assigned projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame by supporting the business unit, customers, and companies, which may include but not limited to developing supporting documentation, the management of all customer related activities; and any ancillary new program support as required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develops, clarifies and manages the scope of the project, defines deliverables and achieves targeted outcomes.
  • Ensures project requirements are achieved in a timely fashion and within budget guidelines.
  • Assembles project team, identifies needed resources, assigns responsibilities and develops timeframes to facilitate successful completion of project activities and deliverables.
  • Determines project costs/ensures delivery on time and within budgetary guidelines.
  • Safeguards compatibility and consistency with existing architectural and enterprise standards.
  • Performs cost/benefit analysis of actions and initiatives.
  • Leverages available tools and technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance outcomes.

No direct reports.

Travel/Shift Requirements

Occasional travel may be required.

Physical Demands

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
  • Viewing a computer monitor/terminal for extended periods of time, reading, primarily on a computer monitor.
  • Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers to work on a computer and keyboard.
  • Conveying detailed or important information to peers, managers, customers and other accurately and clearly.
  • Affordable moving of office supplies up to 10 pounds.

Skills And Abilities Required

  • Ability to effectively meet customer's needs, build productive internal and external stakeholder relationships and take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with stakeholders and senior business leadership of departments and customers.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve issues and conflicts regardless of manager’s authority (or lack thereof) with the involved parties.
  • Ability to escalate to the appropriate person, at the appropriate time, and in the appropriate manner.
  • Ability to project manage multiple parallel projects.
  • Ability to understand the financial impact of decisions on the profitability of the project.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with basic office software and applications.

Education And Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of relevant client project systems preferred.
  • Business experience relevant to the assigned projects strongly preferred.
