Project Manager, Promotional Medical Education

About the role

Real Chemistry is a global agency dedicated to transforming healthcare through innovative communication and marketing strategies. We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Promotional Medical Education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various projects, including slide decks, print projects, and digital initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Communicate expectations to internal teams and vendors to facilitate efficient work flow
• Interface with key agency teams to ensure alignment on milestones
• Plan, schedule, and monitor work to meet time, budget, and quality targets
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams on revenue recognition and invoicing processes
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding project details
• Perform risk planning and mitigation to minimize project risks
• Create service or departmental standard operating procedures
• Route deliverables for review and sign-off via electronic project routing system
• Ensure sign-off at key junctures (e.g., brand team review, MLR review, disk release)
• Enforce agency processes and manage the quality assurance (QA) phase for all projects

Requirements

• 3+ years of Project/Program Management or relevant experience
• 2+ years of experience in budget management
• Familiarity with industry-specific processes, including MLR review
• Experience working on teams focused on promotional projects for Medical Education
• Demonstrated track record of leading small to medium scale products from conception to completion
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including with copy, design, account, and project management counterparts
• Proficiency in creating timelines and tracking progress against schedules
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical teams

• Proactive and driven with strong prioritization skills
• Highly organized and self-starter capable of working independently under tight deadlines

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with MLR Consult and Formal submission platforms
• Understanding of agency processes and workflows
